More Beautiful Than Heaven - Chapter 1
Chapter 1
As if to prove he wasn’t lying, Satan let out a whistle.
The enormous black dog sitting on the floor stayed silent for a second, then finally stood up and turned in a circle.
Was I dreaming?
I rubbed my eyes hard.
The man and the giant dog were still there.
“I think there might have been some kind of mistake. I made a wish to Santa Claus for a puppy…”
“That’s right. The letter says Satan.”
I meant to write Santa!
The man flicked the paper in his hand with his fingertip and narrowed his eyes.
“You’re not trying to back out now, are you?”
In a flash, he was right in front of me, and the lights around us rapidly went out.
Only one harsh beam shone upward from his chin to his brow, casting deep shadows beneath his high brow bones.
It was terrifying.
I swallowed and whispered that I wasn’t.
“Good. I thought you were trying to go back on your word.”
“The last person who tried to play me got torn into strips by Cerberus and hung under the eaves to dry. We still haven’t finished eating him.”
A shiver ran through me, and I couldn’t help sneaking a glance at the Hellhound.
Its crimson pupils looked down at me from above.
Its black fur was glossy and smooth, gleaming with a pearl-like sheen like an ancient Greek statue.
It wasn’t wearing pants, and its male symbol was aimed straight at me.
“Hold it, and the pact is complete.”
I was stunned. “Hold what?”
I mean, it was indeed very impressive, but reaching for someone’s crotch the first time you met was a little too forward.
Besides, my hands were too small. I probably couldn’t…
“His tail. What else would you hold?”
My thoughts snapped back in one second.
Watching the Hellhound obediently raise the fluffy tail behind him, my face went so red it felt like it could drip blood.
“Hahaha, the tail. Of course. I thought it was the tail too.”
The door slammed shut with a bang.
Inside the room, an innocent little girl quietly shattered.
Chapter 2
In the end, though, I still opened the door and held the Hellhound’s tail.
Satan closed his notebook in satisfaction.
Before shutting the door, he bared his sharp fangs and said,
“Now you can give him a name yourself.”
I hesitated slightly.
“Then… can I call him Momo?”
The moment the words left my mouth, a dazzling red glow appeared around the giant dog.
When the light faded, Satan was gone.
A wolf-type boy with eight-pack abs, a lean V-cut waist, and a tall, straight nose suddenly appeared before me.
He was ten thousand times more beautiful than the caracal Mom and Dad had given my sister and me.
It took me only one second to accept him.
Wolves were part of the dog family, and they were very loyal to humans.
Even if I wasn’t especially pretty, he probably wouldn’t hate me the way Si Qing did.
Since he was still naked,
I covered my eyes and spoke to him through the gaps between my fingers.
“Hello, my name is Tang Ti. Go to my room and put on some clothes first.”
I pushed him into the room.
I had just tossed Si Qing’s clothes inside when the door opened again.
Laughter and conversation poured into the room.
My sister, Tang Xi, was back.
