Summary
Lu Mingyuan believes his nominal younger brother has hated him for nearly a decade. When a paternity test proves he is not a member of the Lu family, he packs to leave—until mysterious bullet comments reveal that Lu Guanhe’s hatred may be obsession in disguise, and that a hidden basement holds years of stolen keepsakes and unsent gifts. As corporate rivalry, jealous provocations, and old wounds pull them closer, Mingyuan must decide whether to cut himself free from the family that abandoned him or confront the dangerous longing binding them both. Guanhe, however, has never learned how to ask anyone to stay.
