“Hubby, I still have two teammates locked up in the lab.”

Xie Lizhi gripped the steering wheel, giving a faint “Mhm” without even looking at me.

I remained terrified for the entire ride back.

Once we arrived at the manor, Xie Lizhi carried me up to the bedroom. After filling the bathtub with hot water, he reached out to undress me.

I hurriedly crossed my arms over my chest. “No need, hubby, no need! I can wash myself!”

You’ve got to be kidding me.

If he found the marks on my body, he’d probably go insane with rage.

I hurried into the bathroom while still wrapped in my clothes and made sure to lock the door behind me.

Outside the bathroom, Xie Lizhi couldn’t suppress the jealousy festering in his heart. He clenched his fists so hard his long, slender knuckles turned white.

He had actually gotten into a fight with Pei Wang.

When two regional bosses fought, they had nearly leveled half the hospital, and neither had come out unscathed.

He was especially bothered by the fact that his girlfriend had been intimately entwined with him just yesterday, yet the very next day, she was already getting frisky with another man.
