Summary
After his grandfather dies, quiet country boy Chen Wu moves into the wealthy Chi household to finish high school. Chi Jin, the family’s proud youngest son, thinks Chen Wu has come to force an old childhood betrothal and rejects him in the most dramatic way possible. Chen Wu only wants to study, keep his head down, and leave after the college entrance exam. But as bullying classmates and flirtatious rivals circle closer, Chi Jin becomes his fiercest protector, private tutor, and increasingly jealous would-be husband. When Chen Wu finally walks away as promised, Chi Jin must decide whether pride matters more than the boy he has already fallen for.
