Canggu had captured the two of us because he wanted to use us as hostages to force Master to submit.

“Have you come to save us? Can we leave now?”

I made to yank the hair ribbon off my eyes to confirm it.

Song Yuyuan reacted swiftly and stopped me. “Don’t take it off!”

Only then did I remember I had been infected with the Love Gu. If I took off the ribbon and the first person I saw was Master…

I silently tied the ribbon even tighter behind my head.

Song Yuyuan sighed. “This is only an avatar of mine. I came to confirm your safety first, so I can negotiate with Canggu without worry.”

I said, “Eldest Senior Brother!”

Song Yuyuan fell silent for a long while, as if he had no idea what to do with us.
