Chapter 3

The fox who adopted me said that in real life, I was already dead.

I looked completely unconvinced.

But then, in a flash, my mind suddenly recalled the image of me being hit by a car and sent flying while holding a jianbing.

It seemed like I really was a little bit dead…

I screamed, “Humans have autonomy and can bathe themselves! I really don’t need your help-”

I punched and kicked in his arms, struggling so hard I wished I could immediately crawl away into the shadows. I was harder to hold down than a pig during New Year’s.

Chapter 5

Before long, a bright red slap mark appeared on his cheek.

Left with no choice, he sat on the toilet lid, grabbed both my hands with one hand, clamped my lower body between his legs to keep me still, and desperately freed a hand to post a help thread on his phone:
