After several rounds of drinks, Jiang Bailu and I met in the restroom.

“Miss Lu, all of this is the result of your own choices. I hope you don’t come to regret it.”

“Why would I regret it?”

She looked at me warily:

“I’ll stay with Zhiyan properly. As long as I get regular check-ups, I won’t get sick either.

“That Jiang Family, a place utterly devoid of feeling, I have no desire to return to in this lifetime.”
