Chapter 2

Even after he half-pushed, half-carried me into the wide bath barrel, leaving me dizzy and disoriented, I was still completely dazed.

I, Hua Jianyue, had wandered through countless flowers without so much as a petal clinging to me. I’d always thought I’d seen every trick the pleasure world had to offer. Who would have thought I’d capsize in a gutter?

Xie Qingyun’s little face flushed red as he whispered, “Gege, you look like… you’re really good at this. Will you teach me?”

Like I was really good at this? Me?

Good, my ass!

My reputation as a libertine might be famous, but Heaven and Earth could bear witness.

The reason I’d made it to first place was my peerless lightness skill and my hidden weapons that never missed.

All those romantic rumors were complete hearsay.

That I could crook a finger and make young ladies abandon their families and fortunes, that I could bed seven men in one night and never flag, that the top courtesan of Baihua Lou had washed her hands of the trade for my sake and wept all the way to the ten-mile pavilion…

All total bullshit.

As for actual experience-

Ahem. I already said I never let a petal cling to me.

He looked at me expectantly, his lips red and swollen, slightly parted.

Before this, I had never realized my self-control was this pathetic.

Forget it.

I cupped the back of his head and kissed him. “Let’s just go with the flow.”

The water in the bath barrel churned as if it were boiling.

On the folding screen, overlapping figures rose and fell, tangled beyond distinction.

Damn it, I hadn’t planned on being the one pinned down!

“Xie Qingyun! Get off me!”

“Gege, I’m about to die. Let me have this.”

He turned a deaf ear to my furious curses, my pleas, and my hoarse cries.

“It’ll be over soon.”

“Gege, your waist is so slender and soft.”

“You’re so beautiful, gege. I like it so much. Are you too scared to look?”

“Feels so good, gege. I could die happy now.”

“Gege, can we go to the bed? I can’t really move properly in the water.”

…

After being tormented the entire night, I felt like I died and came back to life several times. My voice was completely hoarse from shouting.

Before my consciousness blurred completely, all I could feel was him holding me tightly, his burning lips pressing kisses all over my body.

Then he let out a low, satisfied sigh.

“Gege, you’re awake?”

I whipped my head around and met a pair of smiling eyes.

Xie Qingyun was lying on his side beside me, propping his head up with one hand. His chest was covered in red marks I’d left behind when I lost control.

I glared at him, feeling utterly aggrieved.

He blinked, looking unbearably innocent, his whole face practically begging for praise. “Gege, I was amazing, wasn’t I? You held me and called my name, and you even let me-”

“Shut up! Close your mouth!” I was about to lose my mind.

I grabbed the soft pillow beside me and, without thinking, hurled it at that bewitching face of his.

He didn’t dodge. He let me smack him right in the face. His mouth immediately drooped, and his eyes reddened at once.

Choking back sobs, he said, “Gege, do you hate me now? You weren’t this mean to me yesterday.”

The way he cried made one’s heart tremble.

I froze for a moment, then resigned myself to leaning over. Annoyed, I rubbed his face and softened my voice.

“I don’t hate you. Did it hurt?”

He instantly took advantage, catching my hand with a pitiful look.

Then he lowered his head, his warm, damp lips darting across my fingertips in a quick peck.

“I was bad. I didn’t hold back. It’s only right for gege to be angry with me.”

He leaned in again, placing his hand on my aching waist and kneading with just the right amount of pressure.

His technique was unexpectedly skilled and comfortable.

My tense, stiff muscles slowly softened beneath his warm palm.

My back relaxed of its own accord, and my body half-leaned against him.

He continued, “Gege, my last wish has already been fulfilled. Once I’ve massaged you until you feel better, you can kill me.”

“I’m a little afraid of pain, so gege, please make it quick.”

Me: “…”

I had nothing to say.

Beauty truly led men astray. Truly.
