Chapter 52

[Still hoping for a steamy bed scene? Take a look at whether my Hua Bao would accept that.]

Hua Suihe lifted her index finger, and black mist spun out in thin strands from her fingertip.

She couldn’t hold back a smile. It made Ye Susheng, who’d been lost in the moment, sober up a little. Ye Susheng opened eyes hazy with desire and saw Hua Suihe’s gaze fixed past her-toward the back of her neck.

Ye Susheng’s mind was sluggish, but the black mist shared her senses with her main body. That audacious black mist darted to a place she’d never touched with her hands, sending the warm, soft sensation straight through her nerves.

Her pupils contracted. Fireworks went off in her head, and the hand braced around Hua Hua’s slender waist felt like it had gotten wet.

Ye Susheng took the initiative to pull back. Clumsily, she loosened her grip. The movement finally caught Hua Suihe’s attention, and Hua Hua’s eyes at last settled on her.

The physical pleasure collapsed the instant it met Hua Hua’s gaze. Ye Susheng’s face turned deathly pale. Her lips trembled slightly; her throat felt stuffed with cotton, unable to force out a single word, while a buzzing roar took over her mind.

Ye Susheng’s nerves were stretched too tight. The black mist, as if startled, all burrowed back into Ye Susheng’s body-but it was already too late.

Hua Hua had seen it.

The hands hooked around Ye Susheng’s neck slackened and withdrew. Silence drifted between them.

Hua Suihe guiltily shifted her eyes away. Just now… that reaction of hers seemed to have been noticed.

Her gaze darted around the room, and in the end she acted as if she were very busy and walked over to the vanity.

The moment Hua Suihe stepped away, Ye Susheng’s legs felt nailed to the floor. Tears pooled in her eyes, and not long after, they began to fall in steady drops.

Ye Susheng didn’t even dare to cry out loud, afraid Hua Hua would stop doting on her.

The black mist knew it had caused trouble. Sharing senses with the main body doubled the sorrow, turning clear tears laced with red into scorching blood tears in no time. Her eyes, full of grievance, stared at Hua Suihe’s unfeeling back.

[She’s crying again, crying again-Ye Susheng is crying. Hua Hua, turn around and look at her!]

[Someone rein her in. She’s crying blood tears already.]

[Wait… weren’t they kissing like crazy just now? How did it suddenly become this? Did I miss one second?]

[Hua Hua definitely saw the Evil Black Mist and couldn’t accept it. She’s dumping Ye Susheng.]

[Honestly, once the Evil Black Mist ties Hua Hua up, she can’t run anyway. Ye Susheng, grow a spine~]

Hua Suihe happened to glance at the livestream chat right then-and saw the viewers’ chatter.

Huh??

Hua Suihe hurriedly turned around and met Ye Susheng’s eyes.

“Aiya, aiya! What’s going on-why are you crying~?” Hua Suihe rushed over, cupped Ye Susheng’s face in both hands, and wiped away the two tracks of blood tears. But no matter how she wiped, it wouldn’t stop; in the end she only smeared blood all over Ye Susheng’s face.

Hua Suihe: …

Left with no choice, she soothed her gently. “Wife, wife, what are you crying for? Don’t cry, don’t cry, okay? You’re going to cry all your blood dry~”

Seeing the familiar worry and tenderness in Hua Suihe’s eyes, Ye Susheng finally dared to sob out loud. She yanked Hua Suihe into her arms, squeezing so hard it was like she wanted to grind her into bone and blood.

Like the black mist and its main body-once fused together, they’d never be separated again.

Hua Suihe didn’t complain about the pain. Her hands went to Ye Susheng’s neck; sure enough, it was burning hot. A sensitive little girl whose skin-hunger had flared up again-if a hug could give her a sense of safety, then let her hug.

Ye Susheng sobbed openly, and the blood tears slowly turned back into clear tears. The blood on her face seeped into her skin, and her cheeks returned to a clean, flawless look.

As the violent emotional waves gradually calmed, Ye Susheng finally loosened her hold a little-yet she still didn’t dare let go.

Hua Suihe slipped her hand beneath the hem of Ye Susheng’s shirt, touching her bare back directly, patting her softly.

And like that, they held each other for who knew how long.
Ye Susheng’s cheeks were warm with a faint buzz as she breathed against Hua Suihe’s hair.

She didn’t know what she wanted, only that this still wasn’t enough.

Maybe she wanted to open her mouth and swallow Hua Hua whole, but when she actually parted her lips, all she wanted was to lick her a couple of times. She couldn’t bear to bite. It didn’t satisfy her at all.

She didn’t know what to do. No one had ever taught her how to ease this kind of overwhelming hunger.

Hua Suihe smiled and spoke softly. “Not crying anymore?”

Ye Susheng hummed an “Mm” through her lingering sobs. Ye Maomao was clingy as hell.

“Then can you tell me why you were crying?”

Ye Susheng rubbed against her hair. After a long silence, she finally said, “You saw it…”

“I saw it…” Hua Suihe repeated blankly, until she felt something brush her fingertip. Only then did she react-and she couldn’t help laughing.

“Just because of that?” Hua Suihe paused, then asked, “You didn’t seriously think… this little black cotton-candy puff could scare me, did you?”

Ye Susheng: “…Cotton candy?”

Hua Suihe teased the black mist wrapped around her index finger with clear interest. Ye Susheng’s abdomen instantly tensed. “Hua Hua…”

Hua Suihe wasn’t afraid because she knew it wouldn’t hurt her. It also felt familiar and close, like it had kept her company plenty of times.

“Is it you?”

“It’s a part of me.” Ye Susheng forced the puppy-like black mist back into her body. The more it hooked itself around Hua Hua, the more the main body suffered.

She asked what she feared most. “I’m not the same as you, Hua Hua… You’re not scared of me?”

“Idiot.” Hua Suihe poked her spine with an annoyed huff. “There are tons of ways you’re different from me. Is this the first day you’ve been different from me? When have I ever been scared of you?”

Hua Suihe turned the head that was buried in her hair back around. Her expression was serious. “I don’t care what kind of freak you are. You’re not going to hurt me anyway. You’re my wife-don’t you say it all the time? You say Hua Hua loves you the most, so Hua Hua loves you the most. No matter what you are like, I love you.”

“Ye Susheng, the first time you saw me, you called me your wife. Do you even know what ‘wife’ means?”

Ye Susheng stared at Hua Suihe, dazed. In Hua Hua’s eyes, she saw that familiar indulgence and gentleness, and she sank into an ocean of love-willingly drowning, unwilling to pull away.

“Hua Hua, I love you.” Ye Susheng’s words were clumsy, but she still insisted on saying what she felt. “Hua Hua is Ye Susheng’s wife. I’ve liked Hua Hua for a long time. I didn’t want Hua Hua to be scared of me, so I hid it from you.”

“I love Hua Hua. I’ll always love Hua Hua. Hua Hua, stay with me forever, okay? Never leave me.”

Those words felt familiar. Ye Susheng said them all the time-she had no sense of security.

“I’ll always stay with you.” No one knew when she’d return to the real world, but in this moment, she only wanted to follow her heart.

“But Ye Zi still hasn’t fully unlocked what ‘wife’ means. On a rest day, I’ll take you and we’ll study together.”

Ye Susheng, trying hard to be brave, shot back, “Not today?”

From Hua Hua’s tone, it sounded like it wasn’t just about being gentle and considerate, kisses and caresses-there were things she hadn’t learned yet. She wanted to learn right now.

“Not today.” The livestream could only be shut off for half an hour at a time-just enough for a shower-before it would be forced back on.

Doing that kind of thing with her wife? No way she was putting on a live show.

[Rest days are the days you don’t stream, right? Why, why!]
[So sweet, hehehe~]
[The mood’s already here-why not discuss the big life matters?]
[Hua Hua, you’re keeping secrets from your sisters, huh? After all these years-fine, you don’t reply to chat, but you’re even hiding this from us too?!]
