My Creditor Is So Easy to Coax - Chapter 1
The night my family went bankrupt, my dad stayed up calculating our debts until dawn.
At this rate, we probably wouldn’t be able to pay them off even in our next life.
So he set his sights on my brother.
“Son, your old man raised you for twenty-seven years. Now it’s time for you to support your old man.”
“It’s only three years.”
“Young Mr. Bo said that as long as our family sends him a man to keep him company for three years, he’ll wipe the debt clean.”
My brother said nothing.
He ran away that very night.
My dad spent the whole night smoking on the balcony, heaving one sigh after another.
I was a little excited.
Surely my turn had finally come?
Instead, my dad gritted his teeth, steeled his heart, and stamped his foot.
“Fuck it. I’ll do it myself!”
Less than five minutes later, my dad was thrown back out, drugs and all.
Young Mr. Bo’s words were anything but polite. “Is every man in your family dead?”
“Don’t you have a younger son? Send him.”
My dad looked troubled. “Th-that might not be a good idea…”
Young Mr. Bo took it for a father’s reluctance to part with his son and sneered. “Fine, then. Let’s calculate the interest—”
My dad caved immediately.
As soon as I heard the news, I rolled up my bedding and arrived at his door that very night, terrified that Young Mr. Bo might change his mind.
Before we parted, my dad took my hand and gave me a solemn warning.
“Don’t go too far.”
“President Bo has lived a pampered life. He’s delicate, so don’t break him.”
The Bo family estate was so vast that I couldn’t see where it ended.
The young butler leading the way looked at me strangely.
Thirty percent mockery.
Thirty percent pity.
And forty percent schadenfreude.
He led me around the garden and up the stairs.
“Young Master is waiting for you in his room.”
“Mr. Qin, I should warn you that Young Master doesn’t like people resisting him. I hope you’ll know what’s good for you.”
“Also, the rooms here have been specially soundproofed. There’s no need to worry about privacy. Please, go in.”
I listened in silence and retained exactly one thing:
The room was very well soundproofed.
I could play to my heart’s content.
I opened the door and caught the faint scent of sandalwood. The heat was turned up high, making me a little drowsy.
A man with a bath towel wrapped around his waist lounged against a leather sofa. He looked me up and down as though inspecting an object.
“The Qin family’s younger son?”
“Yes,” I answered obediently. “My name is Qin Lang.”
Bo Shi tapped the ash from his cigarette. “A younger brother paying his older brother’s debt. Fair enough. Get on the bed.”
I lowered my eyes, my eyelids trembling slightly with excitement.
Bo Shi locked the door.
There were quite a few things arranged beside the bed. He picked up a box and was about to open it when I hurriedly took it from him.
“Young Mr. Bo, let me.”
He paused, then casually tossed it over.
Until…
After opening it, I used it on myself.
Bo Shi began to realize something was wrong.
“Are you sick in the head?” he cursed furiously.
I answered honestly, “Don’t worry, President Bo. I’ve had a full physical. I’m perfectly healthy.”
“What are you planning to do?” Panic crept across his face.
“You’ve got it backward! I called you here so you could… Wait!” Now he was truly frantic.
“Butler! Butler Wang!” he screamed toward the door, his voice trembling badly.
“Don’t bother shouting, Young Mr. Bo. Butler Wang said this room is very well soundproofed. No one will hear you, even if you scream yourself hoarse.”
He nearly passed out from rage. “You… you fucking… Be gentler!”
Half an hour later.
I had Bo Shi pinned against the floor-to-ceiling window, his face burning red.
Reflex tears gathered at the corners of his eyes, making them shimmer. He looked extremely kissable.
“Qin Lang!”
He ground out through clenched teeth, “Which one of us is the creditor here?!”
“You are, of course.” I lowered my head and kissed away the tear at the corner of his eye. “Don’t move, President Bo. It’s time for me to pay off the debt.”
I had no idea how much money my dad owed him.
Anyway.
I’d just paid back over a hundred million in one go.
