A warm Healing Ability slowly wrapped around Lu Hanchen’s palm.

I was focused on healing him when Lu Zhou’s chilly voice sounded from behind me.

“At this rate, if you don’t heal a cut that big soon, it’s going to close on its own.”

The livestream comments were cracking up.

[The male lead is seriously that mad about the supporting female taking advantage of his brother. He hates the sight of her so much he’s even mouthing off to his own brother.]

And after that, Lu Zhou never let me sleep hugging him again.

“Can I have a bite of that can?”

I had imagined all kinds of things Luo Qing’er might say, but I hadn’t expected that line.

Even the livestream comments seemed speechless. Looking at her bright, eager eyes, I handed her the can.

“Then can you let me hug you for a bit?”

Luo Qing’er crossed her arms over her chest and ran off with a look of horror.

The next day, when we went out to gather supplies, I moved closer to Lu Hanchen and tugged on his sleeve under Lu Zhou’s icy stare.

“Do you have a Safety Distance Rope in your bag?”

The instant those words left my mouth, Lu Zhou, who had been organizing the gear for the trip, suddenly darkened.

Lu Hanchen’s gaze sharpened slightly. In silence, he took a short length of rope out of his pocket.

I didn’t know why Lu Zhou wasn’t tying one with Luo Qing’er either, so I looked up at the two of them.

“Do you want to tie it with me?”

The deep male voice pulled me back from my thoughts. I turned my head and met Lu Hanchen’s dark eyes.

“I do.”

I held out my hand, and the man slowly looped the rope around my wrist.

His fingers were cold and stiff. With his head lowered, he tied it with a serious expression, but whenever his fingertips brushed against my wrist by accident, they grew even stiffer.
