The Fragrance of Lust Cannot Be Contained - Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Bang!
The door was split open.
The supposedly indestructible gate came crashing down.
Everyone present jolted in shock.
Our eighty-year-old master received the visitor with the utmost respect.
Amid the smoke and dust, a figure slowly emerged. It was only a silhouette, yet the pressure it carried came bearing down on us with savage force.
The newcomer was tall and straight, with sharp, sinister features.
His eyes and brows, in particular, were exceptionally gloomy.
Yue Sha’s sword hung at his waist, still sheathed. He had destroyed our door with sword energy alone.
How terrifying!
But I recognized his eyes at once.
He was the benefactor from that day.
My legs went weak. I shifted behind my junior brother, doing my utmost to hide myself.
I didn’t dare let out even the slightest trace of my presence.
Thank goodness… he hadn’t seen my face clearly.
Master was still being polite when Yue Sha cut him off coldly.
“Is everyone here?
“The men may leave. The women stay.”
He swept his gaze around the room and let out a few cold laughs, as if his voice had drifted up from the underworld.
Chapter 4
I grabbed my junior brother’s sleeve, my fingers trembling.
“I wasn’t even there that day. Let’s go first. My stomach hurts a little.”
He glanced at me, then quietly moved my hand away.
His voice carried anger, and he raised his volume.
“Nong Xiaoyuan, how old are you? Your complexion is perfectly rosy. You’re obviously pretending to be sick.
“I still have pills to refine. Don’t think that just because you saved me, you can cling to me all day. It’s annoying!”
Without looking back, Fu Jiao walked off.
Yue Sha noticed the commotion on our side, and his gaze swept over faintly.
“In such a hurry to leave? Then you go first.”
My heart pounded wildly, and my feet froze to the ground.
Master cut in, his beard bristling. “Sect Leader Yue, why not start from the first row? These few still need to come with me to gather herbs!”
Yue Sha, as it turned out, respected his elders. He actually allowed it.
He described the culprit’s features. “That person’s waist was wide… about the span of my hand. Those who match, stay.”
Yue Sha raised his hand. It was broad, with long, distinct knuckles.
The sight made me tremble again.
After the poison was neutralized, the handprint on my waist had taken several days to fade.
That was how vicious and brutal he was.
He surveyed the hundred or so people present and listed the person’s traits one by one.
Very soon, only a few dozen people remained.
Yue Sha began searching them one at a time, moving quickly.
I was in the last row, and soon, he reached me.
I was done for!
But then my eyes lit up. Behind me, in the courtyard wall, was a dog hole-wide and bright!
I could probably crawl through it.
I bent down, ready to risk my life, only for someone to seize me by the collar.
Fu Jiao’s voice was arrogant and unrestrained. “Master, I came back to ask Senior Sister for help. I’ll take her away first.
“She was with me that day, never leaving my side. There’s no way she could have gone to the Poison Forest.”
Master clapped his hands.
“Sect Leader Yue, that’s true. These two are always together and very close. Besides, Fu Jiao is the next sect leader of us medicinal cultivators. A fine seedling.
“As for little Nong here, she likes Fu Jiao too. There’s absolutely no way she would have touched you. You can set your mind at ease.”
Yue Sha fell silent.
I linked arms with my junior brother, nodded in a hurry, and immediately left.
