The Horror Boss Secretly Drinks My Bathwater - Chapter 2
Before I triggered the hidden mission, Captain and I had been chasing Wei Min.
He was the boss of this instance.
A huge and cunning silver wolf.
Wolves were pack animals.
Including Wei Min, his pack contained five wolves in total.
Captain might rank near the top of the leaderboard, but our team had only recently formed and consisted of just the two of us. However formidable we were, taking on all five wolves was still a struggle.
We had no choice but to devise a scheme to lure the wolves away from their lair.
Wei Min’s ability was disgusting.
Like the common blink skill in games, he could teleport within a certain range, ignoring every obstacle in his way.
He played along with our scheme, deliberately leaving a trail. Then, the moment we caught up, he slipped away without a sound and led us around by the nose.
Perhaps the system only triggered this hidden mission because we had gone so long without making any progress.
Hidden missions helped advance the main mission.
As long as we completed one successfully, the points and every other reward would multiply several times over.
I had meant to endure it.
But I had a bad temper. After bottling it up for a while, I finally exploded and started cursing Wei Min out.
“What the hell is wrong with you? Are you insane?”
“You watched me bathe and… and drank my bathwater!” My face reddened with rage. “You goddamn pervert! You filthy creep! I’ll kill you right now!”
The system’s warning and the electric shock from moments ago flew clean out of my head.
Overcome by emotion, I pulled the Gatling gun from my item storage.
“I’m going to turn you into a goddamn sieve right—”
Before I could finish, a current even stronger than the last one raced through my body.
My mouth hung open, but I couldn’t make another sound. A thin wisp of gray smoke even curled up from the top of my head.
Wei Min: “…”
Wei Min: “Pfft.”
Me: “…”
I ran into the bathroom and splashed water on my face.
When I came back out, I hadn’t even dried it off.
I stood before the whiteboard, ignored Wei Min’s appraising gaze, and picked up the marker with an angry huff.
Just endure it a little longer. Endure it until we got out.
The moment we did, I would beat Wei Min so badly his own father wouldn’t recognize him!
I wrote a line, then Wei Min wrote a line.
He remained unhurried, the corner of his mouth curled upward the entire time.
Unable to resist, I snuck another glance.
【I shouldn’t have stolen Tang Xun’s clothes to line my den.】
My fist clenched.
No wonder I always felt like I never had enough clothes. That shameless bastard Wei Min had been stealing them!
Damn it. As if a whole pelt of wolf fur wasn’t enough, he just had to steal someone else’s clothes too.
As I thought this, I watched Wei Min write on the board: 【I shouldn’t have wanted to mount Tang Xun just because he’s feisty and smells good.】
I went blank.
Wei Min wrote again: 【I shouldn’t have sneaked into Tang Xun’s room while he was sleeping, used his—, and finally aimed at his—】
The marker hit the floor with a click.
My mind was empty. Revenge, torture—every thought vanished.
I turned stiffly, bolted to the point farthest from Wei Min, and pounded frantically on the pure white wall.
Captain, save me!
